Cambodia's recent history is know around the world. But it is impossible to get a sense of this incredible country without experiencing it first hand.

We embark on a community service project in the Siem Reap province.

As soon as we head away from the tourist crowds the poverty in the area is plain to see, but so is the hope for a brighter future. Everywhere we are greeted by a sea of smiles as we join in with a village on much needed project work. We work especially closely with the children in the area, providing hope and empowerment as we come to educate and be educated. We also work alongside village leaders as we help establish sustainable food projects such as mobile fish farms, piggeries or vegetable gardens. And of course we visit the temples of Angkor, but not simply to take photos.

We are taken on a journey into an ancient kingdom where we learn about the incredibly rich culture and history of the temples and the area by exploring it on an intimate and personal level with our knowledgeable local guides.
