Surfing Surfing

The exhilaration of being completely at one with nature as you feel the energy of the wave beneath your feet is breathtaking every time. Our surf camps are the perfect opportunity to discover the sport for the first time, or improve your existing skills. To complement what you learn in the water, you will study aspects of surfing such as water safety and etiquette, as well as the science behind surfing. You are also sure to pick up some of the unique surfing vocabulary! We have selected two of the best known and finest surf areas in the world for our camps. Both locations boast a range of unique beaches, meaning that we can find the perfect waves for any ability on any day. Using the finest instructors and top quality equipment, you have the opportunity to learn this exciting sport as easily as possible in comfort and security.

Biarritz, France

The rugged scenery south of Biarritz provides a beautiful backdrop to the lessons, as we use the large expanse of coastline to find the perfect waves each day. The local instructors delight in sharing with you not only their passion for surfing, but also their pride in the local area which has much for us to explore and enjoy. Whether taking a boat across the Spanish border for a tapas feast, discovering real-life pirate stories in St Jean de Luz, walking in the mountains as the sun sets over the ocean, or visiting local caves, the action packed week will stay with you forever.

Byron Bay, Australia

The friendly Australian people are not the only locals who will welcome you to their home in Byron Bay. Dolphins, who enjoy surfing as much as we do, regularly ride waves alongside surfers, or play around our sea kayaks as we paddle out from the beach. We snorkel with turtles, and on land, mingle with kangaroos and koalas, before taking a walk up to Australia’s most easterly point to watch for whales breaching as they swim past. The trip is of course topped off with a traditional Aussie sunset barbeque as we reflect on everything we have seen and done!
